Turkey tail (Trametes versicolor) is one of the most studied mushrooms with a rich composition of β-glucans and natural polysaccharides. It has a powerful oncoprotective, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulatory action. In Japan, its extracts are officially used in cancer therapy.
